Switching Communities
In OuterSpatial, communities encapsulate a specific geographical area (for instance Colorado, Bend, or Trails LA County) and contain a library of outdoor recreation information provided by one or more parks and recreation organization.
When you onboard into the OuterSpatial app for the first time, if you grant the app permission to access your location, your current location is used to show you the communities that are closest to you. It's easy, however, to switch to another community at any time within the app. To do this:
- Tap on the "Community Switcher" at the top of the home screen. This will bring up the Community Library, where you will see the communities that are closest to you.
- Tap on a community on this screen to open it.
- Or tap on the "View All Communities" button at the bottom to see a table of all of OuterSpatial's communities, with the ability to sort the table.
